Katuwang Resource Center Inc.(KRCI) together with APPEND launches the Micro-entrepinoy’s Market this March 30,2016, 3:30 PM at Mark 5 Compound, Camingawan, Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City.
The event was graced by Katuwang Board of Trustees and staff, the owner of the property Mr. Hanish Nandwani, and representatives from Childfund, Brgy. Estefania council, and the micro-entrepreneurs.
A short message of welcome was then shared by KRCI’s president Mr. Rafael Catalan.
Followed by a rationale of the project delivered by the Executive Director Mr. Lawrence Ledesma. He emphasized that this is for the micro-entrepreneurs to have venue where they can showcase their products.
Engr. Narciso San Miguel on the other hand,cited that micro-entrepreneurs are the very people APPEND would like to help and support and this has been APPEND’s cause for the past 25 years.
This was then higlighted with Mr. Ahmon Ledesma’s short testimony about the difficult situations of micro-entrepreneurs especially in finding places where they can sell their goods.
Mr. Nandwani also gave a warm welcome to KRCI and the micro-entrepreneurs to his property.
The Micro-entrePinoys’ Market is open to serve you from Monday-Sunday, 8 AM-5PM. Organic products, Fish, Meat, Poultry, Herbal Supplements, Native Food, Antiques, Thrift Clothes, Skills Training are just some of the many things that will be made available here.
